3/22/12 Antioch CA- Regnum Group LLC's annual meeting with investors was filled with anticipation and optimism. Israel Marrone, Managing Partner stated "we are no longer pursuing 500 Hegenberger Road in Oakland because it simply does not fit our criteria for investments anymore. Times have changed quickly. The property has been closed in excess of 5 years and there was a reason why Holiday Inn moved out years ago and left the shell. With the addition of a new investor with deep pockets and new methods of financing hotel acquisitions, Marrone stated that they would focus on hotels that are open, doing business and have up potential for increase in ADR. Regnum has plans to invest about 100 million the next 2-5 years in these types of properties. Regnum has been working exclusively with Danny Givertz of Hunter Hotels the past year or so and plans to continue in this relationship. Stay Tuned!
