Management Philosophy
Decisions on behalf of Regnum Broadcasting Group LLC will be made by a management committee (the committee). The committee (which management intends should function much like a corporation’s board of directors) will be made up of managing members to include managing director N LaMar Brown, who will act as Chairman, The VP of Finance (CFO), Jim Servino, General Manager-Vice President of Radio Division and others to be added later.
Regnum will model the successes of Terry Jacobs and Regent Communications Inc.
Our concept will be concentration on smaller media markets. Keeping costs low and avoiding hefty spending cuts by national advertisers we will focus on our local community. Regnum will pay attention to details like sales training and market research. We will carefully manage the company's balance sheet turning a profit for our investors.
Eighty-five percent of our revenue will come from local advertisers. Local business, when handled right, is our bread and butter."
Once success is achieved in one station, the system will be modeled and tailored to other markets and other stations will be added to the inventory of Regnum Broadcasting Group, LLC.
Regent Communications Inc. has grown to 73 stations in seven cities, with revenues expected to reach $70 million this year. Why reinvent the wheel. Allow me to quote Mr. Jacobs. "Anybody can buy stuff. The real key is being able to put it under proper management and grow it once you own it."
"Our quickest way to success is to model what is already successful and duplicate it, said Bishop N. LaMar Brown Regnum's CEO
Our Plan will be the gradual approach of adding new innovative programming and advertising that the market demands.
We alluded to surrounding ourselves with the best in the business. Our chief consultant will be Gary Begin/Identity Programming that brings an extensive resume to the table and years of broadcasting experience. These are a few of the traditions we must implement into our successful media business.
